We spend money on gadgets and clothing but why not on books or travelling?

We all have our own collection which we think is priceless.It can be anything from small stamps to big paintings and antiques .We also give these collections a large importance and feel bad when it isn’t valued or is criticised. People of today’s world are interested in clothes and accessories which we think can prove us modest and fashionable to this world. But can we  be modest and fashionable in other ways? Can we spend this money in other things? Some examples of these things can be books or travelling. Books can be man’s best friend. They help us to receive knowledge which is something that can never be lost. Travelling is another way of knowledge that also gives us treasurable memories that are priceless. A trip also relaxes us from our busy routine.

I think being simple and giving importance to smaller things carrying a lot of value such as knowledge and memories can prove us modest and fashionable. A new gadget or clothing trend is famous throughout the world but is replaced by something else now and then but a trip with our family and friends will be a memory for only a few people but will be remembered forever. These small things may not be seen by the whole world but will remain with us forever.
