Experience or Education: Which one makes man successful?

 

Is it education or experience that makes one successful? This is a question which has never ending answers. The number of things to be said under both sides are endless.

“Education enhances the power and beauty of experience”. This quote describes the role played by education in an experience. Education also plays an important role in all of our lives. It is something that can empower you to do much more than you are capable of. It helps us change situations and enlighten our paths for the future. Today,most of the professions are dependent on education. People tend to believe people who are well-known and well qualified. For example, if someone hires a person for repairing a computer, he/she will tend to hire a person with more knowledge about it rather than experience as, technology is rapidly developing in today's world. And to work with it one needs to have the education and knowledge about it. Thus, this shows how powerful and important education is in the society.

        “Experience is the teacher of all things”. Well, It is sometimes said that experiences teach you things that even education cannot. It helps us realize how an idea or a task can be improved to make it more helpful and effective. In the current society, which is always changing in aspects of technology and lifestyles, experience plays a huge role. Experience enables us to think in different ways and give different reasonings. It also helps us to acclimatise easily to our society. For example, if we take a potter’s situation, one can learn many things about pottery, its techniques and processes theoretically, but unless you actually do it and experience it the desired result cannot be achieved. The more frequently you do it the more experience you get and the better you can do it. Thus, we can infer the importance of experience from the example.

But, “Education is a lifelong experience, Experience is a lifelong education, Education plus experience is equal to expertise”. Education gives us the confidence and reason to do something, while experience helps us to choose the way to make things exquisite. In conclusion I would like to state that, it is not education or experience that makes a man successful,but it is education and experience that makes a man successful.
